The Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Jazz Orchestra was a jazz big band formed by trumpeter Thad Jones and drummer Mel Lewis in New York in 1965. The band performed for twelve years in its original incarnation, including a 1972 tour of the Soviet Union during the height of the Cold War. The band won a Grammy Award for the album Live in Munich and in 2009 for the album Monday Night Live at the Village Vanguard.

Billy Jones (born 24 March 1987) is an English professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Rotherham United in the Football League Championship. Jones started his career at Crewe Alexandra and made his professional debut in October 2003 in a 3–0 win over Derby County. After four season playing in Crewe's back-line and midfield, he moved to Preston North End in 2007, and in 2011 made his first Premier League appearance with West Bromwich Albion.
