Toxic shock syndrome (TSS) is a condition caused by bacterial toxins. Symptoms may include fever, rash, skin peeling, and low blood pressure. There may also be symptoms related to the specific underlying infection such as mastitis, osteomyelitis, necrotising fasciitis, or pneumonia. TSS is caused by bacteria of either the Streptococcus pyogenes or Staphylococcus aureus type. Streptococcal toxic shock syndrome is sometimes referred to as toxic-shock-like syndrome (TSLS).

Belgian crossover thrash metal hardcore band. Influenced by the eighties Venice bands, Slayer, old Metallica and NYHC. Played their first show in 2011 with Black Breath. Since then they played shows in Belgium, Holland, UK, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain and France with Exodus, Cro-Mags, Power Trip, AF, Suicidal Tendencies, Municipal Waste, DRI, Poison Idea, Testament, Iron Reagan and many more.

Toxic Shock Records was an American independent record label based first in Pomona, CA, then in Tucson, AZ. The label was spawned from the record store of the same name, by its founders Bill Sassenberger and Julianna Towns in 1983, when they released the first of the "Noise from Nowhere" series of 7" EP compilations. Bill Sassenberger opened his first Toxic Shock record store in Pomona, CA in 1980. He specialized in underground punk records from independent labels. In 1983, he and wife Julianna Towns released Noise from Nowhere, a 7", 33rpm EP featuring four local underground punk bands: Kent State, Modern Industry, Manson Youth and their own band Moslem Birth (whose name was a parody of Christian Death). Noise from Nowhere featured cover art.

The other dubious assumption that underpins our pesticide approvals system is that one universal set of "legal limits" is suitable for a baby, a pregnant woman, a robust young adult and a frail pensioner.
