Feldbrill performed as a violinist in the Toronto Symphony Orchestra from 1949 to 1956. From 1958 to 1968, he was the principal conductor of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra In 1969 he directed the CBC Festival Orchestra. That year he conducted the CBC Studio Orchestra in an adaptation of the music for the opera Louis Riel, which was released years later as a DV. .

Victor Feldbrill, OC OOnt (born April 4, 1924) is a Canadian conductor and violinist. He attended Harbord Collegiate Institute at an early age. From 1958 to 1968, he was the principal conductor of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra. From 1973 to 1978, he was the resident conductor of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. In 1974, he founded the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra and was its conductor until 1978. His notable students include Milton Barnes and Brian Jackson.
Victor is the first and only solo album by Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson under the name "Victor" released January 9, 1996 on Atlantic Records outside Canada and Anthem Records within Canada. The album was recorded at Lerxst Sound (Lifeson's home studio) between October 1994 and July 1995. Born in 1924, he made his Toronto Symphony conducting debut at 18. He went on to become the artistic director of the Winnipeg Symphony, a conductor with the Toronto Symphony, and a guest conductor of virtually every major symphony orchestra in Canada. Feldbrill was also the first ce at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Music from 1968 to 1982
