Concealer combines disparate musical traditions to create melodic and hypnotic heavy wave music. Their debut, fêted:fetid, was released Sept 2015 on Weatherbelle and Rae Spoon's Coax.

The reason that feted:fetid is now, thankfully, getting a release is the result of a little help from fellow Alberta artist Rae Spoon - a longtime fan of the band. Just when Concealer were preparing to bite the bullet and release the album on their own, Spoon approached them and asked if they’d like have it be the first record released on Spoon’s fledgling label Coax Records. Rae is one of the few contemporary singer-songwriters in Canada’s whose work I revisit on a regular basis, says Davis.

Their album Fêted : Fetid plays more than 50 minutes, so this is an album to get lost in quite a bit. If you have the headspace for it, this disc more than aptly supplies.
