Bark Like a Dog is the eighth studio album by the American punk rock band Screeching Weasel. It was released in 1996 through Fat Wreck Chords. It was the band's first album released through Fat Wreck Chords. It was also the band's first album since they disbanded for the second time. The split lasted just over a year, and during that time 3/4 of the band (all minus Jughead) played together in the Riverdales. It was the band's only album to ever place a ranking on the Billboard Charts.

Screeching Weasel are responsible for some definitive punk classics including Boogada Boogada Boogada! and the Punkhouse EP, but after a while they started to put out too many records, most of which were forgettable. For Bark Like a Dog, a sort-of reunion album after Ben Weasel left the band for a few years to work on the Riverdales, a lame side project, Weasel is back in the business of writing real songs.

Bark Like a Dog is the eighth studio album by the American punk rock band Screeching Weasel. It was reported that he had been frequently tied to a clothes line, sexually abused, could only bark like a dog, and showed paranoid behaviour over several years. In prison he beat and attempted to gouge the eye of another inmate and pulled a weapon on his own lawyer. He died in prison in 2009.
