Ronald Reagan was the Governor of California for two terms, the first beginning in 1967 and the second in 1971. He left office in 1975, declining to run for a third term. Robert Finch, Edwin Reinecke, and John L. Harmer served as lieutenant governors over the course of his governorship. California Republicans were impressed with Reagan's political views and charisma after his "A Time for Choosing" speech, and nominated him as the Republican party candidate for Governor in 1966.

Army commander throughout the army's existence, SS-Oberstgruppenführer Josef Dietrich said in early 1945: "We call ourselves the "6th Panzer Army", because we've only got 6 Panzers left". 6th Panzer Army (December 16, 1944). Although it didn't receive the SS designation until after the Battle of the Bulge, the SS designation came into general use in military history literature after the Second World War for the formation as assembled prior to that campaign. After the Ardennes Offensive, the 6th SS Panzer Army was transferred to Hungary, where it fought against the advancing Soviet Army. The attack of the 6th Panzer Army into the Ardennes in December 1944 failed to swiftly break the American defensive line and lost valuable time because of . defensive efforts at locations like Monschau.

The final Reagan SS recording. We recorded this as a trio back in 2008 or 2009. Some might call it a change in sound or what ever, but the roots of what our sound was were always there. We recorded the tracks in one session and then wrote the lyrics and recorded the vocals on the spot during the second session. Alex and Andy absolutely killed it with the vocals.

The Waffen-SS and the SS camp guards were two distinct organizations which grew out of the original private army which was recruited to protect Hitler and other members of the Nazi party from the Social Democrats and the Communist Red Army during political campaigns. In the 1920ies when Nazi party members, such as Hitler and Rudolf Hess, tried to give speeches in the beer halls of Munich, they would frequently be physically attacked by the Communists. The Waffen-SS was the combat part of the SS or Schutzstaffel. The term Waffen-SS literally means "Weapons S. The Waffen-SS was founded in Germany in 1939 after the SS was split into two units. The occasion for Reagan's visit was the 40ieth anniversary of the end of World War II and he wanted to forget the Holocaust and show that Germany was now our Ally and a member of NATO.
