La Confrérie Des Fous - La Confrérie Des Fous album download
La Confrérie Des Fous included a string quartet in its line-up, and is thus considered as the precursor of the very successful 'Le Quatuor' founded by Vercambre in end-1980, with several string players of La Confrérie, and with the same humoristic approach. Members: Emmanuelle Parrenin, Evelyne Girardon, Gérard Lavigne, Jean-Yves Lacombe, Laurent Vercambre, Patrick Le Mercier, Pierre Ganem. Variations: Viewing All La Confrérie Des Fous.
La Confrérie Des Fous was created in 1979 by Laurent Vercambre and common for groups towards the end of the 1970's, their shows consisted of a mix of theater, revue, slapstick and comedy, as well as original music with, just to mention a few, elements of both Rhythm and Blues and Folk. Appearing on stage with as many as 8 people - 12 musicians are to be heard on their only album - the group combined an eclectic mix of music and performance with components found in the medieval carnival-culture. They use violin, hurdy gurdy, viola, dulcimer, and synths to create an almost circus feel.

Founded in 1979 by Lawrence Vercambre (Malicorne), La confrérie des Fous is an original folk group representative "delusional" in late 1970. Its musicians develop a folk rock, tinged with ancient music. Created around a concept, fools fairs in the Middle Ages, during which madness became legal, the band is of variable geometry. It includes at least 8 people on stage 12 on the single album recorded by the group ) The "women folk" that are Emmanuelle Parrenin (ex-Mélusine), Evelyne Girardon (ex-La Bamboche) and Valérie Terrell (former Equinoxe), realize the opportunity . .
